After the wettest November I can remember, I’ve finally, on the 11th December managed to get the Aquadulce broad beans into the ground. A couple of days respite from the rain and I was able to uncover the cloches and get the plants, which had been growing nicely in modules in the greenhouse, into their final position. Under the cloches now is a row of peas (Meteor) also sown yesterday – very late I know, but hopefully under the cloches they will find enough warmth to germinate and get going. Let’s hope the relatively mild weather continues until they come through.
